Peterhouse Politics Society is a political society based at Peterhouse, Cambridge. We regularly invite leading speakers from across the political spectrum to talk to students about politics and current affairs. Whatever your political leanings, Peterhouse Politics aims to provide a lively and entertaining forum for discussion and debate. All meetings are open to everyone, free of charge. There is no dress code.

Lord David Owen - "How to remain a nation state within the EU"
Wednesday 22th Feburary

David Owen was a Member of Parliament for Plymouth for 26 years from 1966-92. Under Labour Governments, he served as Navy Minister, Health Minister and Foreign Secretary. He was co-founder of the Social Democratic Party and its Leader from 1983-87 and 1988-90. He now sits on the House of Lords.
